Instagram Features (90-Minute Videos) Explained: Does Insta Pro APK Support It?

Instagram Features 90-minute horizontal video on an Android phone with linked short clips, Insta Pro APK support

Instagram just made its biggest move into long videos since IGTV shut down in 2022. On October 26, 2026, Instagram head Adam Mosseri and VP of Product Tessa Lyons announced Features, a new format for horizontal videos up to 90 minutes long. If you use Insta Pro APK, you’re probably wondering two things: can you watch them, and can you download them? Here’s what we actually know so far.

What Instagram Features Actually Is

Features isn’t just a longer Reel. It’s a separate format built for widescreen content like podcasts, interviews and full shows. Instagram is testing different length limits, with videos running up to 90 minutes.

The clever part is how people find them. Creators can attach up to eight short clips to each Feature, which Instagram calls “Clips as Reels.” You see a short clip while scrolling, and one tap takes you to the full video. Instagram also plans to recommend Features in the main Feed and in Explore.

Who Can Use It Right Now

Very few people, for now. Features started as a test with creators in Brazil, and on October 26 it expanded to a small group of creators in the US. Instagram says it will roll out more widely over the coming months, but there’s no public date yet.

So if you don’t see Features in your app, that’s normal. It isn’t a problem with your phone or your Insta Pro build.

Does Insta Pro APK Support Features?

Short answer: yes, it follows the same rollout as the official app.

Insta Pro is built on the official Instagram app, and the current v15.90 runs on the Instagram 439.0.0.38.89 base. Features is switched on by Instagram’s servers account by account, the same way the Liquid Glass look reached Insta Pro users in v15.80. So when Instagram enables Features for your account, it shows up in Insta Pro just like it would in the official app.

And if Instagram ships an app update that Features depends on, Insta Pro keeps pace. New versions ship within 1 to 2 weeks of every official Instagram release, so you won’t be left behind for long.

One thing to watch out for: Features can’t be unlocked by downloading a special file. Instagram turns it on for your account. Any site offering a “Features unlocker” or a “90-minute video APK” is selling something that doesn’t exist.

Will You Be Able to Download Features With Insta Pro?

This is the question most of you will care about. Here’s what v15.85 already gave you, based on our own testing:

  • HD downloads already work for photos, videos, Reels and Stories.
  • Audio now saves together with downloaded videos and Reels, which matters a lot for podcast-style content.
  • The new in-app Reel preview lets you check a clip before saving it.

Since “Clips as Reels” are published as Reels, you can save them with the Reels download button like any other Reel. For full-length Features, Insta Pro’s HD video download is the tool to use, and we’ll add our hands-on results here as soon as Features reaches our test accounts.

Another Change Worth Knowing: Linked Reels Removed

While Instagram pushes Features, it also removed the Linked Reels feature on October 28. If you used it to connect your Reels into a series, it’s gone from the official app. Insta Pro follows Instagram’s base, so expect the same change in future builds.

What You Can Do in the Meantime

  • Stay on the latest v15.90 from our Download page. It extends the build expiry and fixes random crashes, including on Android 15.
  • Check our Changelog. We’ll add a note the moment a build mentions Features.
  • Skip any “Features unlocker” APK. Every big Instagram launch brings a wave of fake files, and you shouldn’t trust any build that hasn’t been scanned.

Quick Answers

Can I watch Instagram Features on Insta Pro?

Yes, once Instagram turns it on for your account. Features is switched on from Instagram’s side, so it appears in Insta Pro the same way it does in the official app. Right now it’s a small test with select creators in Brazil and the US, so most accounts won’t see it yet on either app.

Does Insta Pro v15.90 include Features?

v15.90 is out, but you don’t need a specific build to get Features, since Instagram enables it account by account. The latest build is v15.90. When a new version ships, we test it on our own devices, scan it for malware, adware and spyware, and list exactly what changed before publishing it.

Is Features the same as IGTV?

No. IGTV was a separate app and service that Instagram shut down in 2022. Features lives inside the main Instagram app, shows up in Feed and Explore, and connects to short clips that work like Reels, so you don’t need to switch apps.

Bottom Line

Instagram Features is a real and significant launch, and Insta Pro gets it the same way the official app does: Instagram switches it on account by account. It’s still a small test, so most people won’t see it yet. Clips download like any Reel today, and we’ll update this guide with full-length download results as soon as Features reaches our test accounts.
